Looking 4 Kin
Most of you are unaware the chat room at Looking 4 Kin is the smallest page on our site. Yet through the years some of my very closest friends have been made on this little page. I know that most of the regular users feel the same about the friendships they have formed and the bonds they have made there.
In Looking 4 Kin Genealogy Chat are not about numbers in the room - that is the least of our worries. We would rather have 8 or 10 good chatters then a bunch who are not on track.
What we want out of the room is a nice, small but friendly group of chatters. The way it has been is perfect, but we never want to see the numbers drop to where they were last fall.
Yes, we will always welcome chatters into the room but it is not our goal to have 20 or 30 in the room at a time.
When the numbers get to high chatting becomes difficult and hard to follow. Bigger isn't always better. Quality not Quantity is by far the best.
Our Goal - To provide for you an active, caring genealogy chat room in which all with an interest in genealogy feel welcome for sharing knowledge, resources, ideas & making of friendships. Our goal has nothing to do with recruiting large numbers of chatters, instead we desire to have your friends and family there.
Most of my free time is spent working on the other 500 plus pages and on my own family history pages.
Looking 4 Kin is not just about a chat room or links, we have message boards, articles, a blog and so much more to offer people.
