May Contest - Missed Questions

I hope you are all enjoying the May contest.

As I said at the outset, all the questions in the quiz are straightforward. There are no 'trick questions' and all the answers can be found in free to access links on the Looking 4 Kin links site.

If you missed question #1 and don't see anyone in the room to immediately give it to you please e mail me with Looking 4 Kin in the subject box and I will pass it on to you.

For future reference, please e mail me the same way for up to SEVEN questions (not including #1 which is a freebie)that you may have missed.

I am not giving my e mail here as it is likely to lead to a load of spam, but my genealogy website is listed in the Regular Chatter's Surnames & WebSites - and you will find e mail contact information there.

To ensure that all time zones have adequate time to complete the questions and all questions are online for a 24 hour period - at the end of the month question #28 will remain online until Just_M goes to the computer on the morning on Sunday 1 June.

You will then have a 24 hour period to e mail all your answers to me - they must appear in my inbox by 2pm GMT (or thereabouts) on Monday 2 June 2008. The responses will be checked within a few hours and the necessary information will be passed to Just_M

Administrative Areas in Ireland - Two Fun Quizzes

Hopefully you have had a chance to look at the blogs on Administrative Areas in Ireland (16th May 2007) and also the helpful information included in the Guide to Sources for Irish Family Research (1 May 2007).

If so ... put your feet up - take a wee break from serious genealogy and try these -

Print the letter grid you will find at Irish Pen Pals - Lettermix and see if you can identify the 32 Irish counties.

When you have found them – see if can you identify the counties on the map at Irish Pen Pals - Irish Counties

Don't worry if (or when) you get stuck with this second item. The answers can be found at Irish Pen Pals - Irish Counties - Answers
