Was Manetta a GORE? When was she born..is Thomas her father...when was Thomas born his wife and children?

As soon as I figure out how to do that I will be glad to.  It is US census listed for Cora Gore, I found it on Familysearch.org

It shows Thomas as head of house and Emily as mother.  Dont know why it didnt pull up under Thomas's name.  Are you related to this line?  Manetta Cora was married to my Great Grand Father John Mark Brown.  My grandmother told me Manetta's mother was rich and gave a down comforter to her girls when the got married,but she didn't like John and would not give her one.

Ok I will look for it thro Cora ..I wondered what name she used..

We should be working backwards...starting with your parents, then grand, then great grand, to be sure the connections line up

Yes I have been told I am going too fast. I have connections from my mother Ruth Marion Brown to her mother and father Jeannetta Mary Burden & Henry Garland Brown.  I am having a little more trouble with my grandmothers parents and line in NY and Nova Scotia and Ireland.

My Grandfather Henry I can only link to his father John Mark Brown.  Manetta goes back several generations but I am slowing up and trying to get all source information complete.
