Permalink Reply by Janet on January 23, 2012 at 5:18am I have photos of Hannah (Ida) one is dated 1922 but I have no idea where it was taken other than the people in the picture were wearing coats and the trees have no leaves, so I take it to be up north somewhere.
The other picture was taken in 1926 and says Atlantic City, NJ. I don't know if she was living there or visiting. In the family it was said that was the last time anyone ever heard from her. If she was married to the latest Armstrong at that time, and we then find William Armstrong getting married a few years later and he was a widow, then I assume she died around that time.

Permalink Reply by Janet on January 22, 2012 at 9:07pm no. I know they were not in the US at that time.

Permalink Reply by Geri Chubb on March 9, 2012 at 11:00am If you look in the 1901 census there are 2 William Muirs one in Simcoe co, the other in Oxford Co. That one in Oxford Co, wrong person. I have his death as 19 April 1904, according to a newspaper article I was told of.

Permalink Reply by Just M on March 9, 2012 at 11:26am But there are more then one deaths of a William Muir within the time frame he may have died - which is why I am asking if anyone has the obit for William Muir and if they do to please upload them.
The information in it may help the search for Hannah
Permalink Reply by Just M on March 9, 2012 at 12:12pm There are 2 death records for A William Muir in ancestry.
I am wanting to know who has his obit. I managed to find the obituary for Mrs Muir and uploaded it.
Everyone seems to have information and not paper trails for obits, death records etc
I will upload the 2 death records for William Muir who died in 1904 in Ontario (As per Mrs Muirs obit suggesting this is when he died)
Is there no one out there who can email and request a copy of the obituary? I do know the library will do one obit fro free usually if asked very nicely. I would do but i also research in that area and have used their kind services once in a while. They are very helpful.
Possibly if there were a better paper trail on each member of the family, obits and death records for each parent and sibling one might find a bit more on Hannah.
