Belonie's son Alexis Saulnier was born in 1826 in Saulnierville and married Marie Deveau (b. 1835); they had Honorine Saulnier who married Mathurin Urbain Comeau.
The Belonie Saulnier you found on census records is not the same Belonie I am looking for... :(
On one record I found on Family search (I think it was Alexis's birth or marriage) his father's name is spelled as Belloni on the record. My family always passed down that it was spelled Belonie. -

I don't have any birth info for either Belonie or his wife Rose only that they were born before 1826.
