Helping hands helping one another with our family history & genealogy research.
John was married to Lizzie Ann Hill , they lived in Tomahawk, Ark. There were 7 children born to this union. I am trying to find out when they moved from Tomahawk, Ark to Osage, Ok. I know Iwas after 1923 because my mother Ruby Inez Baker Littlepage was b in 1923 in Tomahawk. She was the last child b, and her mother Lizzie d, 1935. Lizzie had many siblings I only met one , Oza Florence Hill Butler, lizzie's sister.

Permalink Reply by Hill on February 15, 2013 at 7:09am What an interesting story on Hiram Baker. You have done a wonderful job on your family tree. The answer to your question when did the family arrive to Oklahoma, sadly to say I cannot locate them in the 1930 Census(checked Tomahawk,Maumee,Searcy,Arkansas also Osage in Oklahoma). In the 1920 Census for John Lindsey Baker, take a look at the image, last entry could be Lizzie father Wm. A. Hill.Find A Grave also has lots of information on the families in Arkansas.
Alexander Baker brother to John at his death does mention brother John also Mother is still living and a picture.Your tree has Martha died 1907 but is still living when her son Alexander died in 1917.
