Helping hands helping one another with our family history & genealogy research.
Hi, I am trying to find out more about my Mum's fathers side of the family. He was Arthur Burnett Curtis born 1914.
He served in the Canadian Air Force in WW2, we believe he died in 1988, in Tillsonburg, Ontario, he was married before he married my nan in 1941 and had a son, he then married again after and had a daughter, who we believe lived in Calgary around 1988.
I think I have found his father, and his parents, but being new to this am not sure!
If anyone can give me any information at all on any of this family I would be most grateful. I have searched for his birth and death certificates, and marriage certificates and can only find the one where he married my nan, and we have the original for that!!
Thanks for any help you can give me.
Sandra, I was thinking have your tried to apply for Arthur's certificate of death even if his body was donated to a University there still has to be a certificate of death. There just might be a clue the certificate like another contact. Worth a try.
Well the military files named and address in the u.s. and name for the mother as well, have you tried tracking that information down?..backtracking her on census
