I have been researching my family since 1994. I am still at a loss for Yanko. Can anyone help me in what direction I can pursue to find my mother side of the family? Any help will be greatly appreciated...Dave
Yanko would be John in English.. have you looked for a John, names were Americanized rather quickly, they didn't want to stand out.
Yes Eliz I have used John also. It is only the first 15 years in America that he is unaccounted for. I need the time before when he lived in Croatia and his family info... Thank you for your reponse...
