Helping hands helping one another with our family history & genealogy research.
My grandmother was born in West Bromwich Staffordshire England in 1878. Her name was Eliza Hunter. Father was William Hunter, her mother Susan Green Hunter (Susanne). I am trying to find children/grandchildren to her siblings. Want to find living family ! siblings were:
Charles W Hunter born est - 1880
William Hunter - age 10
John Hunter - age 7
Harriet Hunter - age 5
James Hunter - age 3
this is from 1891 census
Susan remarried - Samuel Bulock or Burlock. and had children, so my grandmas half siblings
Edith Bulock - age 9
James Bulock - age 7
William Henry Bulock - age 3
this info from 1901 census records
if anyone can help me with this i will be SO HAPPY. this is my first post in a group - i hope i did this right. ty

On the 1891 a member made a correction on Susannah name, submitted on 03/10/2008 but I do not see a connection to the Hunter family on thier tree.

Permalink Reply by David11000 on April 29, 2012 at 2:40am To find 20th century descendants you need to look for the names in the 1911 census, which can be done at ww.1911census.co.uk - the index is free but you have to pay to view the original entries. You also need to use www.freebmd.org.uk to see if they died or got married. If they married you then need to search for any births - after 1911 you also get the mother's maiden name.
The Bulocks will undoubtedly be easier than the Hunters
