Hello Zillah I can see Robert John and Mary Ann on the 1881 Census at 14 Hanover st with a son Charles, They have moved in 1891 I cant read the address  and Charles is with them and a daughter Caroline. I got a copy of their Marriage Banns and have attached it. If you would like the Census let me know and I will download them for you Take Care Lynette

Not sure exactly what you're looking for and what you already know.

The address in 1891 was 63 Linton St., Islington

Seems odd that Robert John was a carpenter at his marriage and his censuses and his father was a porter, if they were in the Clothworkers guild. He was baptised on 13 Nov 1842 (born 18 Oct 1842) at St Giles without Cripplegate in the City of London, the son of Charles Thomas and Sarah HOWARD, porter of Half Moon Alley

Charles Thomas HOWARD married Sarah LANGAN at St Giles without Cripplwgate on 17 Oct 1841, both of full age, both of Half Moon Alley, he a bachelor, a porter, father Robert HOWARD dyer, she a spinster, father John LANGAN coach trimmer, Wits Catherine LANGAN and Samuel POOLE

I thought the same thing neither seem to be Clothworkers hope Zillah sees the posts. I couldnt read the 1891 address on Ancestry. We have the right family. Take Care Lynette
