Thank you this appears to be their son. I was connectrating so much on Mary Morrison his mother my father's great aunt her brother Robert would be his Grandfather. He was named after him. I overlooked checking the Brandon Sun newspaper. It appears there is an obit also for his brother Wiliam and with married names for the sisters. This should be of great help to locate the family of Mary Morrison. Once again Thank you. I will be busy researching this family

My husband is the great grandson of Archibald McMurchy and Mary Morrison who died in Reston, Manitoba.
Please contact me for further information.

Mary Morrison daughter to William & Mary (McAllister)Morrison would be my 2nd Great Aunt,Her brother Robert is my Great Grandfather.
Would be quite willing to share my info on the Morrison family, as for the McMurchy family I have not traced but if the family is from the Elgin, Middlesex, Lambton, Kent County areas,I maybe able to help as I do not live too far from the cemeteries in these counties. This is unbelievable, just received about two months ago, death certificate from Manitoba proving this is my Mary Morrison.

Yes, our McMurchy family came from Elgin area. I have lots on the McMurchy family, my main focus but I do have a little on the Morrison line. I am always happy to get some help for cemetery information in Ontario. What are you using for a genealogical program? I use Legacy.

Where is the explanation for what "asking a friend" entails? Does asking a friend ensure that just you and I see the emails and information I have to share with you? I don't want to find my work on Ancestry.com but I will share one on one.

I asked on chat last night,if you decide to accept friendship, conversation will be only between the two of us, through email and can send information privately. No one else sees info but the two of us. Just M has this available for people like us who have made a connection, want to share info but not with the rest of the world. Hope this explains or if you have any concerns ask M.
