Permalink Reply by Jeanyalogy on March 8, 2012 at 10:30pm Forgot to mention that middle names are often given at christening ... but there also might well have been two men with the same name, and the media got it mixed up if both were involved in mining...but you'll have to sort that out with some major digging. It did mention that he dabbled unsuccessfully in politics on one site, I think...Head gets full of several threads and hard to remember which is which..have just found the linking for url's so hope you were able to see them all. New to that, as I usually just post urls unless they are really long...but noticed poor M was having to come in and shorten them, so I thought I'd better start... J.
p.s. Edward Sinclair's Lumber Company was named after him, and seems to have remained lucrative long after his passing
