McKinley and Una came to the United States and set up residency.  

German had a twin brother Norman (who somehow lived in Worcester, Ma) and another brother John.

that should answer the question of when your Grandfather German was born about 1870 according to his border crossing and the 1930 census which you have now said was his twin brother Norman.

The information provided by Al Parsons post your Grandmother Amelia was widowed in the 1935 Census,also burial information.

Also providing the information on their son Victor.

Using the Link that Al Parsons provided in his post and the links Just M provides in this group,hopefully more information can be found.

Thank you for this wonderful information.  German Pelley is my grandfather, Norman was his twin brother.  Whom my grandmother married after my grandfather (German) died.  Uncle Norman lived in Worcester and why he went there I don't know.  Norman and German also had a brother John Pelley.

Have you located a marriage for your Grandparents or the marriage of Grandmother to Norman?or the marriage for Norman to wife Annie?

You mention your Grandfather German died,do you have a death certificate or a date & location?

As for the brother John,what information do you have for him?

I have in my possession marriage certificate for German Pelley of Robinsons' bright and Amelia Ann Short of Shoal Harbour district of Trinity Bay.  It was witnessed on the 28th day of May 1891 in the presence of Norman Pelley and E. Adams.  The Norman Pelley mentioned is German's brother and later following his death Amelia married Norman and moved to Worcester, Ma.

Forgot to mention that John B Pelley is also listed in the City Directory,same address as your Grandfather German has on his Border Crossing.

Your Grandmother Amelia is also in the City Directories in Worcester,Mass.

Elizabeth you had mentioned that you have the marriage certificate,did the certificate provide parental information.

Have you been able to find Birth records for them?

Here is the link that would appear your Grandparents are buried.Have you tried contacting the Cemetery to see if they have information? or maybe looked for a obit.
