thank you Eliz you have  found one of my dead ends. Daniel and emaline are my third great grand parents The child that you found 1848 was I believe thier third.each to that point did not survive beyond two years. The second daniel that you mention, I think is my 4th ggrandfather but I am unabel to prove it or any of his other children and wife. The census has him born between 1780-1790. No idea where

yes Eliz tracking daniel was like following a camelion. In 1860 he is in tioga township as brockaway. 1870 he is david brock in lawrenceville pa. 1880 he is daniel brock'1900 he is again daniel brockway in steuben county Ny.his eldest surviving son james is my 2 g grandfather.

I have all but two of these, Leroy and alfred. although willard I have as william from census. wish I knew if all of this was proven. I' not certain of hall as maiden name.
