Where in Canada did your grandparents come from?  Can you give us their dates of birth and death, or approximate dates?  The Webb family I come from is huge, and there are many unrelated families.  If we can narrow this down a bit, someone may be able to help you.

I think I have found your grandmother and gt grandparents on the 1891, 1901 and 1911 census of Canada.  also the birth record of your grandmother.  Details to follow,

The 1891 census shows Joseph Webb, 40,  born about 1851 in Ontario, head of house, Methodist, farmer, both parents born in Ontario; spouse Barbara Ann Webb, 24, Amos Webb 6, Harriett Webb 4, Joseph Webb 2.  They were in the subdistrict of Barrie, in the county of Addington.  (This is close to the US border, New York).

the 1901 census shows Joseph Webb AGED 50, BORN 3 nOV 1840 IN oNTARIO, lumberman, M(ethodist), Barrie, Addington, with wife Barby A 35, born 14 Feb 1867; Amos M 14, Harriett E 13, Joel E 11, Andrew D 9, Barby G 5, Tilfe 1.

Sorry, there is no census for 1911 in Canada that I can find.  Perhaps the family moved to New York State before then.  I did find the birth record for Elsie:  22 aug 1908, at Lot 12 conc 3 Mountain Grove, township of Olden, Frontenac County; father Joseph Webb, laborer; mother Barbara Ann Thompson.  The social Security Index shows death 18 Jun 1994 Gouverneur, New York.   I also found an obit for her.  If you don't have that, i will type it out for you.   It was in the Gouverneur Tribune Press June 22 1994.

My 4th great-grandmother was a Webb I have a lot of info on various Webb's here in Canada.  My cousin has set up a Webb tree using all the info we have all collected and she has done a great job here is some info on this family she also has a picture of Elsie attached to her tree and she has written out Elsie's Obit.

Elsie’s Obit:  She married a 2^nd time to Donald Webster Davis

Wednesday, June 22, 1994-Fine, NY

The funeral for Elsie M. Austin Davis, 84, Hermoniown Road, was held Tuesday, June 21,1994 at French Funeral Home, Edwards. Burial was in Pleasantview Cemetery, Clare.

Mrs. Davis died Saturday, June 18, 1994 at lid ward John Noble Hospital.

Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Surviving are four sons, Aldon Tar/'Austin and Arthur Austin, both of Fine, Aloysius Ausun, Star Lake, and George Austin, Hastings; fou daughters, Sarah Me Broom and Nora Fmley both of Star Lake, Eva Austin, Syracuse. and Elsie Fifield, Ogdensburg; 33 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Three sons, Andrew, Edwin andCharles Ausun, and a daughter, Alice Austin, died before her. Several brothers and sisters and a grandchild, also died before her.

She was bom Aug. 22, 1908, in Olden Township, Canada, a daughter of Joseph and Barbara Webb. She graduated from Degrassc schools in 1924. She married George Austin on Nov. 16, 1926, will) Justice Lester Hatch officiating. Mr. Austin died in November 1966.

She married Donald Davis in 1972 in the East Victor Wesleyan Church.

Mr. Davis died in November 1980.Mrs. Davis had lived in the Fine area most of her life.

There is a tree on Ancestry that has a picture of Barbara Thompson Webb you might want to check that out.  According to them Barbara's father was Amos Thompson and Harriet E Davy.  If you do a google search on Joseph Webb and Barbara Thompson there are a lot of people who have documented this family.
