I can't thank you enough for all the information that you have found out for me.  It is very greatly appreciated and my father in law was so happy to find out this information as well.  Hie grandmother is a Lusty and we didn't have alot of information on that side - now we do.

Heres an interesting piece:

Harriet came to North America in August 1849 on the packet ship Sheridan, in the company of Archibald Beattie (Beattey), gentleman, his wife and family. She was 11 years old. She may have been travelling with them as a servant, or she may have been related to them, a niece or cousin.
