Helping hands helping one another with our family history & genealogy research.
Hello,
I am hoping someone can help me locate a death registration for an Arthur Matterson.
These are the details -
Arthur Matterson was born in Otley, Yorkshire, England in about 1882.
Arthur was a carpenter.
He immigrated to Canada in about 1909, settling in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, and moving to Saskatoon sometime after.
I have found him on a passenger list as late as 1925, visiting his father in England, at which time his address was 1623 16 West, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
On another passenger list, in July 1935, his wife, Alice Maud Matterson, returns from travels to England and is listed as a widow, her address listed as 224 Ave. F North, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Going by this, I would venture that Arthur died sometime between 1925 and 1935, likely in the Saskatoon area.
I would like to find out the date and location of his death, if that is possible.
Thank you very much for any assistance!

Please note: The cemetery keeps more than one set of records. The official records are kept manually and are considered the main records. These files have been taken from the computer records that were transfered from the official records. They are used for day-to-day reference and, while every effort is made to make them as complete as possible, inaccuracies may exist. The cemetery may be contacted if there are any questions about any listing here. If you see any obvious errors (34th day or 34th month for instance), please send a note (Email Here) and the correction will be made. There are a few records from the early part of the century that will not be in these listings (missing records pertain primarily to burials in the Catholic section from 1905 - 1918). We are presently attempting to determine, as definitely as possible, the location and identity of those burials, and they will be added at that time.
