I have seen most of this,  I wonder where John Brown was in 1900 where Manetta Cora said she was head of house and he was not listed in this census???  I am sending for Henre Garland Browns death cert.  I have it from the funeral home in Norfolk but need the orginial.  I have conflicting birth places for him, I have the marriage cert for him and Jeanetta it shows Little River SC, I know that isn't right.  His mother was from Horry.  Thanks for helping me I really appreciate it.  John Mark Brown has many names like Manetta Cora it gets hard to keep them straight

I wondered as well, but he could have been working away from the area, or a neighbor might have given the information and he just got missed... anyway we know some of it makes sense, ,you would need to contact the Horry Co courthouse and see if the have marriages back that far...they have nothing online that helps...
