I am looking for my wife's g grandparents Michael and Mary Sinnott (nee Taylor) They lived on Nunnery Road in 1867 when her grandfather Michael Sinnott was born. I cannot find their birth, marriage or death certificates or their graves. Can anyone help. Have been to Enniscorthy three times but have had no luck other than the birth certificate of her grandfather. Thanks

Father's Name: James Sinnot
Mother's Name: Catherine Kinsella

I have looked for a marriage on the indexes but can not find a marriage for him to a Mary Taylor. Question could Mary have been married before and hence married under her married name.
Hope this helps

Permalink Reply by GregB on September 16, 2012 at 2:18am Thanks for the reply. The information I gave is all I have. Mary could have been a widow but I don't know. Our aunt (92 yrs old) does not remember much but says that she thinks her father Michael, hadmeSo a brother Thomas that died in the som'e in France and a sister called Mary who married a Patrick Murphy and moved to England as well. It is also possible that g grandfather Michael Sinnott was married prior. The family was RC and may have records in the church in Enniscorthy, I have written to them several times but have never received an answer. Any help is greatly appreciated.
