My Grandmother, Bernice Wunderlich, went to and graduated from the La Crosse Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing, sometime between 1924-1930.
I have looked for any information regarding this nursing school that no longer exists. The facility is now called Gundersen Lutheran and I am unable to find any existing records of the older La Crosse Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing. I came across a few older photos of the hospital but nothing on the nursing school.
Would anyone know where I can turn to next to locate existing old records for this La Crosse Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing? Perhaps photos, nursing pins, yearbooks, etc?
Thank you to anyone who may have a suggestion.
Have you contacted Gundersen Lutheran and asked them if they kept old records or does a local Lib or Geno Society have them? always a possible, But I did find toons of news items on the Name Wunderlich

Eliz, thank you for that information on other Wunderlichs. Yes, I did contact the hospital itself and one of the physicians I suppose who is in charge of historical matters, his last name was Gundersen actually, said he isn't aware of any old records from the days of the nursing school but if he happens to come across anything he will contact me. So that is good news.
Those Wunderlichs you mentioned I don't know if they are related or not. That's another stone I will unturn and try to find out if they are my family Wunderlichs.
Thank you so much for looking and the info. Take care.
I did run across a bunch of obits etc in that area so if you find any are related will be glad to post them.
