Gilbert Bohn Rites
BARABOO—Gilbert L. Bohn, 77, retired Baraboo hardware  store proprietor, was to be buried  today at Viroqua, after funeral services at the First Methodist church, Baraboo. The Rev. Theo. F. Matthews will officiate, Mr. Bohn died suddenly at his home. Surviving him is one daughter Mrs Dale Wilcox,Baraboo,two grandchildren,a brother Arthur Bohn,Chicago and three sisters Mrs Edward Baird and Eva Bohn, Detroit MIchigan and Mrs Lillian Leeper, Milwaukee

Last rites were conducted this  morning for .Mrs. Anna Bonn, 67, wife of G. L, Bohn, well-known retired  Baraboo hardware dealer, who died suddenly Saturday,  Services were held at 10 at the home here interment at Viroqua Cemetery.
Mrs Bohn and her daughter Mrs Dale Wilcox had spent Saturday with relatives in Wonewoc returning to the Wilcox residence here for supper. Mrs Bohn died shortly after the meal. Besides her husband and two daughters survivors include two grandchildren Kieth and Janice Wilcox

Wow this is fabulous  Can you find the story about Byron L Bohn teaching school.?  This is a son of the 2nd marriage to Charles F. Bohn.

In 1891 Byron L. Bohn of Wonewoc,  Wis. taught in the high room  with Willard DeBow in the intermediate  and Miss Adella Porter  of Blair in the primary room.
This year there were nine in the  graduating class.


This is an extensive article about Early School Days in Blair WI  in the article I also found this: seems hardware stores ran in the family:
Retiring from teaching, Mr.  Bohn conducted a hardware store  at Wonewoc until his death.(he retired in 1892
