Otto Sprockhoff died somewhere in Wisconsin on 25 Oct 1965. He moved to Wisconsin sometime after his wife's death in Lucca, North Dakota. She died in 1942. I have not found anything on him till his death. I would like to know where he is buried. I have looked on find-a-grave a few others but no luck yet.
Thank you

A lot of Dorner names there, maybe some of the children. if you search on just the last name:

Permalink Reply by Colette on February 17, 2011 at 7:07pm I just got off the phone with Allen Schoettlin, grandson of Otto and Caroline :) He gave me some inof on his aunts and uncles but didn't know anything about Caroline and very little about Otto.
Otto was not living in Wisconsin when he died, he was there visiting Helen. He remained on the farm till he died.
Apparently Lena died as a young child also, Allen had never heard of her.
My little leaves are poppin like crazy!

Permalink Reply by Eliz on February 17, 2011 at 7:17pm Well I thought it was weird that I came up with zip, but one never knows..lol even I get stuck in ant hills! lol glad we could get the ball rolling again.. hehe, anyway sent you a Friend thingy.. will give you my addy that way..above I found Antons and Theresa stone, but no obits.. can't find the right newspaper..drat, bane of my existance! newspapers ;( they all say they have oodles.. like rot they do.., so who was Helen? sometimes I find obits by other peoples names, and not the deceased..isn't that a kick in the shins..but when you think about it if their not in their own backyard so to speak when they pass on, it makes sense that a blurb or obit is listed under the whats news, listing so and so's brother etc passed away.
Your family is like mine,, ghosts who like to hide and keep secrets! Leave it to the Germans, have them myself, maybe thats why I married an Irishman.. lol.. I am so fried at the moment your people couldn't leave footprints any better than mine!
