My great grand father John Blagg born 1819 was tried at Staffordshire court on 3rd January 1841 and transported to Van Diemens Land, his convict description said he had the mark of where a wedding ring had been, he stated that he was single, but the ring mark would suggest that he in fact was married and as it left a mark had been married for a while, what I am trying to find is possibly his wife…
