Marriage, Names and Discrepencies
Searching for family in Bavaria, I found Johann Ochs b. 27 Mar 1834. His parents are/were Heinrich Jacob Ochs and Anna Maria Kraemer. While searching for Heinrich and marriage records to Anna Maria, I found a marriage between Heinrich and a Elisabetha Krähmer. Can she be the same person? I also have a marriage date for Heinrich and Anna Maria as 5 Sept 1832 but I cannot find proof of that. Not exactly sure where I even got that info. can anyone help clear this mess up?…See More

Breaking into Germany
I've found my great great grandfather John Oths in U.S. Census 1900 as well as others and it states that he immigrated to NY in 1852 (1853 in another Census) I am having trouble finding that record in any passenger lists. He was born in Germany in March 1834. I have wife and children, but I don't think that will help in my search as to where John Oths was born and who his parents were.
