I have been trying to trace the birth and death of my Henry Howitt.What I know of him is that he was born c 1838 in Jamacia and was a British subject.His fathers name was Samuel Howitt born Grantham England. Henry was in the 84th Regiment and was a Drum Major. I am looking for more information on my John Michael Freeman. He was born in Ireland in 1848 and died in England in 1895. He was brought over from England back to Ireland for burial. In the Eglish census he says he was born Roscommon Ireland.
