I am trying to find the birth record and parents of my GG grandfather George Heard. George "appears" in the 1859 Burke Co, GA census living with James Brinson family. He stated he was a 25 year old school teacher born about 1828 in Sanford, Maine. He died in Scarboro, GA 3 January 1896.
