Profile Information

A Little About Me
Retired Bookkeeper/Secretary , married, two daughters and four grandsons. Live on part of my fathers farmland in the contry. Live on the Miramichi River which is a very famous Atlantic Salmon fishing river in this province.
Names I Research & their locations .... (please be specific here)
Somers,Bryenton,Mullin,Taylor,Menzies,Sinclair,Curtis,Messer,Gray,NewBrunswick
Sharp-e,Harrison.......Seagraves,Derbyshire England and Western Canada
I got started researching my family history ......
My Aunt wrote a book on the history of the Miramichi, NB Canada 1970- 1980 and our genealogy which got me interested. I started looking for the Sharpe family then the Harrison Family about 1975 and wrote up my other side of the family tree on that family which led me to my husbands family as well as my grandchildren. I have finished one family of WALSH for grandsons and am working on MESSER for other grandsons...when this is done I will be writing up what I have researched on my husbands family. I am very interested in the family genealogies as well as history and stories of people in New Brunswick.
I have been doing genealogy since ....
35 years as a novice
We all have them - my biggest brick wall is .......
Sharp-e and Harrison families in Derbyshire, UK
Looking for Harry b 1860, Mary A b.1857 and Elizabeth Sharp 1847 born in Seagrave lived in Derby. They are siblings to Thomas William Sharp and Emma Sharp-Harrison

Extra Informaton

I have been doing genealogy for years but not steady, just off an on. I have found at least 20 members of the Sharpe/Harrison family on the internet in the past few years. Just the other day found a cousin in AB and am corresponding with her. Besides this I have found relatives and pictures on Facebook that I have never dreamed possible to find.
I am still looking for some of the Sharp-e family in Derbshire England, they are Elizabeth b 1848, Harry Born 1860 and Mary (Marie) Ann b 1863... Their brother and sister Thomas William and Emma moved to Canada in 1883.
