- A Little About Me
- I was born and raised in southern Saskatchewan, grew up a farm girl at Browning, Saskatchewan, Canada, attended school in Lampman. Attended church in Woodley and Lampman.
Married. Have a family of 3 children. Those children have given us 17 grandchildren - 14 blood and 3 chosen grandkids. Have lived in Estevan, Regina and Moose Jaw over the years.
Retired in rural Manitoba in 2011. Now we hope to travel a whole lot more, visiting places our families lived and meeting our many 2nd and 3rd cousins for the 1st time

- McCURDY, COLGAN, McNINCH - County Antrim Ireland to Ontario Canada then west to Saskatchewan.
LITTLEJOHN/S, METHERELL - Devonshire, England to Ontario, Canada then on to North Dakota with my grandfather ending up in Saskatchewan.
LAWRENCE, HUME - Scotland to Douglas, Manitoba
PETERS - Germany to South Dakota and on to Saskatchewan
LUEHRING - Germany to South Dakota
BUDD - Ontario to North Dakota then on to Saskatchewan and Manitoba
SINCLAIR - Scotland to Ontario to North Dakota then Saskatchewan
- I got started researching my family history ......
- Coming from a family where both a Gramma and a Great- Gramma married twice, I had all kinds of cousins whom I had no idea how we were related. As a result I started keeping little notes whenever I heard anything about that family.
The hobby has been put on hold many times throughout the years of childraising, but was never very far away.
When my little sister got ill with a disease that we were told was usually hereditary, I started digging harder then ever.
Then came the internet, and the bug really bit.
- I have been doing genealogy since ....
- 4th grade on and off - we won't say how many years that is. (Still have many of the notes I wrote as a child whenever i heard or sorted something out about the family
- We all have them - my biggest brick wall is .......
- Finding the time to do any researching of my own.
- By joining Looking 4 Kin I hope to .....
- As webmaster here I hope that the members of Looking 4 kin will bond together helping one another with their research.
