Alberta marriages

Has Alberta organized and uploaded marriage certificates for the late 1880 - 1900's?  Is there a data base?  Ancestry has been of no help and "Our Future Our Past" does not show much. See More

"I can check ancestry.com if you have not all ready.  Also, there is a web site that Alberta libraries maintain:  http://www.ourfutureourpast.ca/  that has old newspapers and area histories that might help."

Profile Information

A Little About Me
I am a high school teacher who does beekeeping, photography, golf, and have one son.
Names I Research & their locations .... (please be specific here)
Wambold/Crewdson/Hanley/Vinion (Vignon)/Fraser/McAdam
I got started researching my family history ......
in about 2003.
I have been doing genealogy since ....
8-9 years
We all have them - my biggest brick wall is .......
James McAdam, my grandfather's father, who came from Ireland, married my great grandmother and died before my grandfather was born. I cannot find marriage certificates or where his grave is....

Found James McAdam

Found an entire set of records covering his enlistment with NWMP between 1885 and 1990.  Went on to find several newspaper articles about his death in 1896, just about three months before the birth of his son, James Fraser McAdam.

Still cannot find Margaret Elizabeth Fraser, wife of James McAdam.  She left behind a son upon her death in about 1905.  I have not found any official document that she married George Boorne, from England, some time after the passing of her first husband.

Looking for information on my great grandfather who was born in Virginia in 1856, possible November. He married, somehow lost that wife, and eventually moved to Washington State after marrying my great grandmother, Mary Centennial Crewdson in1891 in Moscow, Latah co. Idaho. I know nothing about his mother, father, or any siblings. He is listed in the Lee Family of Virginia, but with no documentation.
