A Little About Me
I'm a just retired school teacher who loved using technology tools in my grade 6/7 classroom. Also a very keen genealogist who has been researching my family for over 30 years. Genealogy, technology and travel go hand in hand especially when visiting grave sites or buildings overseas.
I got started researching my family history ......
when I did a topic on it at school.
How long have you been doing genealogy?
about 35 years
My biggest brick wall?

Book resources you could use for lookups regarding ships

To get some discussion going in this forum, could members make a list of reference books you have at home that you could do lookups regarding ships in Australian waters. Make sure you mention which state the book mainly refers to and check the previous replies so titles are not repeated. This would then share the load among the members. Also mention if the book is indexed and whether sources for images etc are included.See More

Gday Tasteach I've an ancestor from Tassie one Robert Bayley (Claudine 1821) who hooked up with Mary Hogan on his travails. She brought him back to NSW eventually and they settled around Yass having lots of children over the years & finally marrying here.
