Anyone related to, or familiar with Carter families that settled in Kansas circa 1890 to 1900. Also family of GOLDS that also settled. Families later intermarried. Golds came from Michigan, Carters from Illinois to Missouri to Kansas. See More

Herman Wilkem at age 14 along with a cousin emigrated to America from Ostfresland (sp?) from a town called Grappermond (sp?) which is in Northern Germany bordering Netherlands somewhere. Is there anyone here that is familiar with this area? See More
