A Little About Me
Retired due to ill health, enjoy all hand crafts, cooking and cats
Names I Research & their locations .... (please be specific here)
Marr - Northumberland and Durham; Collins - Northumberland; Moss - Ireland; Tennant - Scotland/Ireland; Macartney - England;
Keenlyside - England; Mallett - Nothumberland, England; Gough - England, New Zealand; Cavaye - England, New Zealand; Wheelaghan - Ireland, England, Australia.
I got started researching my family history ......
as I was wanting to know who was alive to invite to my mum and dads 60th wedding anniversary 5 years ago, so I brought up the lie with mum and dad to get all they know about their relations and ancestors on paper as I was wanting to do their family tree. Greatparty too.
I have been doing genealogy since ....
5 years
We all have them - my biggest brick wall is .......
Marr family and Collins family there are millions of them and they all have the same names! Ruprecht family as I had to go to german genealogy and didn't understand any of the German emails.
By joining Looking 4 Kin I hope to .....
Satisfy my curiosity as to where I "came" from and other people close to me. Learning about other places, people and times. Helping out where I can on my target names. Finding long lost (and alive) relations.
