My roots are British.
Names I Research & their locations .... (please be specific here)
King - Quebec City,Quebec,Canada

Call/Caul Wolford,Ontario,Canada
I got started researching my family history ......
I started researching my husbands family for my children's personal knowledge. We have never known where the families originated or when they came to this country.
I have been doing genealogy since ....
I have been researching since 2006
We all have them - my biggest brick wall is .......
My late husband's great grandfather Henry King and great grandmother Mary Ann Duffy were married in 1857 at the Anglican Cathedrale in Quebec City
Mary Ann was born in Quebec of Irish parents.
Henry poses a problem all census, marriage and death certificates tell me he was born in England 1830.No town given or names of parents.I have searched the birth certificates of his children also.
Ships arrivals prior to 1867,when confederation took place were sketchy.
I did find Henry King born in England 1830 working as a servant to a well known Judge in the 1850 census but I can't tie the two together.
