Jean Gray said… I believe you are referring to William S Holbrook being in prison while the rest of the family is still in Litechurch, derbyshire. This is where the confusion comes in. My William Seaton was born in Derbyshire and married to Lydia Blood. Hope we can sort this out.
Regards
Jean Gray
Jean Gray said… Paul, I have a William Seaton married to a Lydia Frances Blood registered in 1863. I also have a Geoffrey L Holbrook married to a Edith M Gant registered in 1923. Are these two any connection with you. Thanks
Jean Gray said… Paul, you left a message for Joan Sereda. She is my cousin and we are working together on our research. It is good to know that William Seaton Holbrook is your Great Grandfather. We would like to know if you know who his mother was. We know her first name was Frances. What was her maiden name and her parents. In 1841 census she is listed as being born in Huntingodnshire. Any help would be great. Thanks.

To join a group to make a posting , look for the Groups link above and type in "derbyshire" or wherever you want to add a query/thread. Then join the group and post. ( try not to make too many similar postings in other groups as it makes for duplication of resources )
all the best J.
