James is a name that is very prominent but his parents were Peter Carroll born 1897 and Ann Griffen from Fermanagh and they settled in Northumberland County."

Hi All!I am researching Reed and Carroll names from Tipperary. They all seemed to emigrate to Canada around 1800 to 1820. I have ID'd James Carroll b:1780 and Thomas Reed b:1777 as the oldest members. I would appreciate anyone's help in identifying their ancestorsThanks!Reed Wortman See More

- in 2010 but did not really work at it until late 2011. I have found over 900 ancestors and relatives since then.

- We all have them - my biggest brick wall is .......
- David Wortman, my g-g-g-grandfather. Apparently he died in Easton PA in 1806 but I can't find proof for that. I cannot find his origin. Nor can I find birth record/maiden name for his wife Elizabeth.
