Looking for ancestors of James Boyd who married Jane Clark. The 1851 Scotland census records lists James, age 46, living at Jock's Lodge. he is a Mason Journeyman. He lists his place of birth as Ireland.He died 03 July, 1859, age 54. William Hannay/h and Helen Milligan (Miliken)

Looking for anscestors of William Hannay who was born about 1755. He died 06 Feb 1922 and is buried at Glasserton Kirkyard. The Memorial Inscription reads " This stone was erected by William and Robert Hanah in Craigdow in memory of their father William Hannah who died 6th February 1822 aged 67 years. I spent much of my career as a Florist, something I thoroughly enjoyed. When I became semi retired I became interested in genealogy. The family names are Smith, Bramwell, Hannah & Boyd
I got started researching my family history ......
I was asked to complete my Dad's maternal side of The Bramwells and I got 'hooked'
How long have you been doing genealogy?
for about 5 years
My biggest brick wall?
finding records in Ireland
finding scottish records in the 1700's
